How it works
The most important substances in Allgrow, are the two natural growth substances Cytokinins and Auxin. These two substances could be found in any plant in the nature, but not necessary in the right concentration, in order for the plant to achieve an optimal growth. Therefore, Allgrow could be seen as the natural complement to the plant’s other nutrition sources, both existing and added. Allgrow can be used both by foliar spraying and in watering (and dripping) system.
Cytokinin
Cytokinins contains of a number of different natural substances: Adenin, Zeatin etc. These substances stimulate creation of cells in the plant, especially in the development phase of the plant. In addition to that, Cytokinins prevent the breaking down of chlorophyll, which means that they prevent senescence/aging of the plant.
To summarize the affect that Cytokinins have on the plant:
• Stimulate creation of buds, which results in more buds, flowers and fruits.
• Support the transportation of nutrients in the Xylem.
• Prevent aging, which results in longer production season and better quality of the harvest.
Cytokinins effect against aging could experimentally be tested by dipping a living leaf in a 2% dilution of Allgrow, then let the leaf stay in the dilution and then measure the time before the leaf turn yellow.
In nature, Cytokinins are produced in the root system but act and could be found in the buds.
